CARVED AGATE WATER POT
18TH CENTURY
4 cm high, 6 cm wide
The small water pot is carved naturalistically in the form of a gnarled trunk of pine, the orange-brown inclusions of the stone utilized to articulate the branches. The interior is polished and well hollowed. The semi-translucent stone is of pale honey colour.
