GLASS SNUFF BOTTLE
QIANLONG MARK AND PERIOD (1736-1795)
5.8 cm high (without stopper)
The bottle is of flattened oval form supported on a short foot and rising to a cylindrical neck. One side is painted in delicate enamels with two birds standing below large lotus leaves and flowers. The other side is painted with two ducks swimming in a pond below reeds and blossoming branches of peony. The flat base is inscribed in iron-red with a four-character seal mark qianlong nianzhi. Jadeite stopper.
