PAINTED POTTERY FIGURE OF A HORSE AND LADY

The horse is standing four square on a rectangular plinth, the finely modelled head turned slightly to the left. The lady is seated and turned to one side, holding a flute in both her hands. Her face is well painted with white, pink and black pigment. Her hair is painted black and her robe painted brown. The horse is predominantly covered with dark red pigment.
